Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 13, 2026 · Last updated: August 13, 2026

This policy describes how Shoreline Additive ("we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit shorelineadditive.com or submit a request for quote (RFQ). We are a business-to-business manufacturer; this site is intended for use by companies and their representatives.

Information we collect

  • Information you provide: when you submit an RFQ we collect your name, company, work email, optional phone number, project notes, and the design files you upload.
  • Information collected automatically: our hosting and security providers (Cloudflare, Inc.) process standard server logs, including IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and delivery. Our spam-protection service (Cloudflare Turnstile) evaluates browser signals to distinguish people from bots.
  • Cookies: we do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Turnstile may set a functional cookie strictly to perform its verification.

How we use information

  • To prepare and respond to your quote request, including engineering review of uploaded files.
  • To communicate with you about your RFQ and, if you become a customer, your orders.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the website.
  • To comply with legal obligations, including export-control screening obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How information is shared

Only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contractual confidentiality: cloud hosting and security (Cloudflare), file storage and email (Google Workspace / Google Cloud), and transactional email delivery (Resend). We may disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a corporate transaction affecting our business.

Uploaded design files

Files you upload are stored in access-controlled, per-customer storage, are used solely to evaluate and fulfill your request, and are never used to manufacture parts for anyone else. We delete uploaded files on written request. Do not upload files containing personal information or export-controlled technical data (see our Terms of Use).

Retention

RFQ records are retained while the inquiry or business relationship is active and for the period needed for legal, accounting, and quality-traceability purposes, after which they are deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) may give you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request its correction or deletion, to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither), and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the button below or the contact page. We will verify your request using the email address associated with your records and respond within the statutory period.

Do Not Track and opt-out preference signals

Because we do not track visitors across sites, this site does not respond differently to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals; there is no tracking to opt out of.

Children

This site is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page with an updated effective date.
